Peraih hadiah Nobel untuk Kesehatan tahun 2011 diumumkan pada hari Sabtu tanggal 3 Oktober 2011 yang lalu, dan terdiri dari tiga orang yaitu Bruce Beutler peneliti dari Amerika Serikat, Jules Hoffmann ahli biologi dari Perancis, dan Ralph Steinman peneliti kelahiran Kanada yang bekerja di Amerika Serikat.
Bidang yang diteliti oleh ketiga orang itu adalah bidang imunisasi, sehingga hadiah Nobel Kesehatan 2011 itu seperti terinspirasi oleh suratku Paris Hilton Jadi Hantu Pada Deadmau5 tertanggal 16 September 2011 yang memuat kata imunisasi dalam kalimat-kalimat sebagai berikut: “……Entah kenapa dengan semakin bertambah umur, aku semakin kurang tertarik dengan kesenangan duniawi. Kalaupun melihat berbagai kesenangan duniawi, suka muncul di kepala ini kata-kata “Ah, ini ‘kan cuma kesenangan duniawi belaka, sedangkan di akherat ada yang lebih baik dari ini ……… ” . Mungkin ini berarti aku sudah berhasil menyerap dengan baik ajaran agama yang muncul sepanjang hidupku dan melakukan imunisasi terhadap diriku agar lebih dapat bertahan dari godaan duniawi……”
Kegiatan imunisasi yang aku lakukan itu antara lain seperti yang aku tulis di “Dua Skor Imbang 1-1 MU Pada September 2011” yaitu berupa melihat beberapa kesenangan duniawi melalui video yang ada di Internet agar aku cukup tahu bahwa aku memang tidak terlalu tertarik dengan kesenangan duniawi dan lebih memilih untuk ketemu ajal untuk kebaikan umat manusia. Sekaligus kegiatan itu untuk mencegah kemunculan komentar yang berbunyi “terang aja dia bersedia ketemu ajal, sebab belum tahu sih soal kesenangan duniawi.”
Meskipun hadiah Nobel Kesehatan 2011 itu diberikan kepada tiga orang, tapi porsi masing-masing berbeda. Bruce Beutler dan Jules Hoffmann mendapatkan 25%, sedangkan porsi terbesar didapat oleh Ralph Steinman yaitu 50%. Nama belakang Ralph Steinman seperti merupakan isyarat untuk aku, seperti berarti “stay end man”.
Kata “stay” selain berarti “tunggu” dapat pula berarti “tetaplah” seperti pada kalimat “don’t get panic, stay calm….” yang berarti “jangan panik, tetaplah tenang….“.
Sehingga nama belakang Ralph Steinman yang kedengaran seperti kata “stay end man” itu seperti isyarat untuk aku, “tetaplah berakhir Firman”. Ini terkait dengan kesediaanku untuk ketemu ajal, berakhir dari dunia fana ini, untuk kebaikan umat manusia. Berketepatan pula, Ralph Steinman meninggal dunia tiga hari sebelum pengumuman hadiah Nobel Kesehatan 2011 tanggal 3 Oktober 2011 itu. Pada saat membacakan pengumuman nama-nama para penerima hadiah Nobel Kesehatan itu, panitia Nobel belum mengetahui bahwa Ralph Steinman telah meninggal dunia.
